Al Madina Logistics won the Gold Award for the best website design for the third consecutive year at the prestigious Oman Web Awards 2013 held at Al Bustan Palace – A Ritz Carlton Hotel. The company’s website won in the Operations & Logistics category and was judged on stringent criteria that included creative concept, ease of use, content structure, visual design solution and interactivity.
Websites that were nominated for the Oman Web Awards 2013 in its 7th successful edition were judged by an expert panel of university professors and industry specialists based on selected guidelines that followed tough international standards. The Oman Web Awards came to light with five overriding objectives that included promoting the spirit of innovation and creativity, raising the standards of web design and websites, advocating growth and development of local talents, promoting intellectual property awareness and encouraging all sectors to become involved in the digital economy.
Al Madina Logistics corporate website has been recognized with a Silver accolade at the Oman Web Awards 2010 - 2011 held recently at Al Bustan Palace – A Ritz Carlton Hotel. The award was presented to the company at a glittering ceremony held at the Al Bustan Palace Hotel from chief guest H E Dr Mohammed Ali al Wohaibi, Undersecretary for Communications at the Ministry of Transport and Communications.
The event was held under the auspices of the Information Technology Authority with Dr Salim al Ruzaiqi, CEO, presiding over the event. Pierre Moukarzel, president of the Pan Arab Awards Committee and other distinguished guests from various corporate houses in Oman also graced the occasion with their presence.
